Muddled Pig

There are still quite a few people who have yet to try Side Project and they have yet to allow food in there. So for now, the best solution is to have happy hour at one place and then walk two blocks over for dinner.

Luckily, the menu at Muddled Pig is much more interesting than its predecessor.

I heard nothing but good things about the burger... it's huge!

The House Burger
Another sandwich on the list is the Oyster Po' Boy...cormeal fried oysters, pickled okra, greens, tomato, remoulade. Of course Patience picked this out...

I had a big lunch at work so it was nice to order something lighter under the "Roughage" section that was interesting, Missouri Mushroom 'N' Farro.

Missouri Mushroom 'N' Farro
Mixed roasted mushrooms, creme fraiche, popped farro, picked red onion, lemon Madeira vinaigrette, micro tarragon

We couldn't say no to dessert either. You know I got chocolate Peanut Butter Tart while Patience shared the Chocolate Stout Bread Pudding.

Turns out (for some crazy, non-chocolate eaters reason) that the bread pudding was hugely popular in my group:

Dirty spoons!

About to attack!
Oh, and since I saw one Matt Sorrell behind the bar, I also ordered a cocktail! He made me my first White Lady. But there is a LONG beer list since it is a "gastropub" after all.
